Hello, everyone! Nadine here today to sharing my mixed media layout with you. The CropStop Shop has an incredible amount of mixed media products to use on cards, layouts, canvas’ or pretty much anything else you can think of. See how I used different mediums to splatter onto my layout to create this fun and simple mixed media layout.
To start the background of my mixed media layout, I used some Prima Art Basics Heavy Gesso in White randomly onto my background paper with the Alphabet Border – Dyan Reaveley’s Dylusions Stencil 5″x 8″. Once dry, I sprayed some Radiant Rain Spray in Sunburst and some Dylusions Ink Spray in Campso Teal, then with a baby wipe I wiped the spray off of the Gesso. Make sure to wipe off the spray before the ink spray dries.
Then using the Alphabet Border – Dyan Reaveley’s Dylusions Stencil 5″x 8″ again and using the actual alphabet part of it I randomly used some Cosmic Shimmer Texture Paste in Deep Red.
Once the paste was dry, I randomly splattered various mists, sprays and paints to create a fun splattered effect onto the background. Then laying up some patterned papers and adding some tiny pegs and Burlap String in Black for embellishments my mixed media page was complete.
I hope you enjoyed my layout and be sure to check out the CropStop Shop to find all the supplies to create this project and so much more!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a happy crafty day!!
