You are an amazing friend

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today and I’m thrilled to be working with CropStop’s wide variety of products.

Embossing folders can be used to create the perfect background for a card or tag.  And I love to vary how I use my embossing folders.  CropStop has a vast selection of embossing folders and I’m using Bouquet from Couture Creations.

I embossed a panel of cardstock cut to the size of my card, then I embossed a smaller panel that I planned to use as the top layer.  I then lightly inked over the embossed portions with assorted colors of Memento Inks.  After matting the panel with cardstock, I wrapped ribbon around it and adhered it to the larger card base.  I purposely left most of the card base free of color so the top panel would really shine.

Lightly inking the embossed portions in several colors of inks really brings out the details in the embossed images.

A sentiment was stamped in a coordinating color, matted and adhered over the ribbon. Stickles were placed randomly about the flowers for a little more three dimensionality.
