Traveling Boy

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today and I just adore this Prima stamp, Billy.

I wanted to create a card and little goodie bag for someone who may be traveling off to camp this summer or traveling to visit family.  The card would wish him well or hold some cash and the goodie bag would hold something sweet for the journey.

I chose to cut off Billy’s legs and add him to a card which uses collage sheets from 7Gypsies Epicurean paper pad.  I love this paper, but decided to cut up a collage sheet and re-collage it.  Call me crazy, but it really does emphasize the traveling theme.  Then Billy was inserted between the layers.  He appears to be looking forward to his trip don’t you think?

I made the goodie bag using the We R Memories Pillow Punch Board which can create any sized pillow box you want.

I decorate the pillow box with the same 7Gypsies papers to keep the same traveling theme, then wrapped some twine around it.  Of course, I had to add some candies inside.

This was definitely a fun project to create.

Thanks for stopping by.
