Time for another guest design post here on the Cropstop blog. Today we’re sharing the talent of Tina from the Treebug blog. She’s created a BEAUTIFUL Christmas card and shares a picture tutorial for putting it all together!
Tina Says: “I used to make all my Christmas cards in the last days of December but now I love making Christmas cards all year round, it is so relaxing. Here is how I put this Christmas card with vellum together:
I used my Cuttlebug machine to emboss the white panel with Sizzix embossing folder (Tim Holtz Alterations Texture Fades). Then I cut two pieces of Christmas tree (Memory box Flowering Christmas Tree die) in gold and black colour.
I stamped the lovely sentiment (Marianne Design, Christmas Sentiments) on white vellum with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo black ink pad. The white vellum is a bit larger then my card base. Two snowflakes in gold and black were cut using the Memory Box Lindeman Snowflake.
I adhered the Christmas tree on to the white vellum and both snowflakes on to the white embossed panel. The embossed panel was adhered to the card base and the vellum with the golden tree (with black shadow) is in the front of my card. I used Scotch gel glue to glue everything together. Thank you CropStop for having me as your Guest Designer!”
