Welcome back to the CropStop blog for another guest design post by the talented Kathleen Sawyer of Kat’s Scrap Box.
For her project today, Kathleen created a detailed Valentine card using some great products from CropStop. She chose kraft colored cardstock for the base of her card, and layered a valentine vellum paper on white cardstock and matted it in red on top. (As a side note: You’ll want to stop by the Cropstop stop store and browse the nice variety of cardstock and designer papers they offer there!)
To make those intricate clock faces, Kathleen, used the Lost and Found timepiece die from Cricut, Clock Hands by Bead Landing, brads, clock faces from her stash, and a craft knife to cut out clock faces from the Darcie embossing folder.
Those lovely hearts come from a Crafter’s Companion die called contemporary hearts, and the die cut chip-board letters from Basic Gray. For added interest and dimension, Kathleen rolled the corners of her vellum with a quilling tool and also added some pink staples.
Thanks, Kathleen, for sharing your talent with the CropStop blog this month! We’ve enjoyed your lovely cards!
