Guest Designer – D.Ann

20170220_183307_wmToday’s guest designer was a recent winner in our monthly challenge. Welcome D. Ann from D. Ann’s Crafting Whims.

D. Ann chose to make a lovely spring card using a wide variety of  products from companies Cropstop carries!  D.Ann used the Spellbinders Elegant Labels 4  to create a lovely die cut card base from Bazzill Basics cardstock: Bank Note green. She embossed her card using Couture Creations Serenity Collection: Chiaro.

20170220_183600_wm To create her beautiful 3D daffodils she used the Heartfelt Creations Botanical Orchid Stamps and dies and the deluxe flower shaping kit from them as well. She colored her lovely daffodils using her Ranger Mini Mister and these Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Carved Pumpkin, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemon, and Twisted Citron.

The sentiment is cut with a Memory Box Thank You die and layered on Core’dinations cardstock cut with the Spellbinders Gold Labels 4 die.

The elegant butterfly comes from the Spellbinders Wonderful Wings dies. D. Ann added extra bling with Darice  silver and gold lined gold seed beads, Misc. pearls and Ranger Stickles: Firefly & Tropical Tangerine.

20170220_183806_wmD. Ann used her Sizzix Twist & Style tool to tie those pretty green bows in each corner. Holding it all together is Aleene’s Clear Gel Tacky Glue and Cosmo Cricket Glubers.  (For more details on how she put this all together you can visit her blog linked above.)

Thanks so much for guest designing for us this month, D.Ann — your elegantly cut card full of so many details is a work of art!! Now it’s your turn to share your lovely art with us in the CURRENT CHALLENGE link up! Be sure to include a few products from companies Cropstop carries in the store and Happy Crafting!

D.Ann, I left a comment on your blog but had to come over here as well to tell you how much I love your card design. The die cut, shaped flowers are little pieces of art and would make beautiful pins as well as card embellishments. Love that embossed and die cut card front…and thank you so much for the tip to emboss first and then die cut!
