Welcome back to Cropstop for another Guest Designer post by D.Ann from D. Ann’s Crafting Whims. She’s sharing several creative items with us today, so let’s get started!
For this first card, D.Ann embossed her green chalkboard paper (DCWV) with the Couture Creations Fresh & Fun Collection – Smooch 5×7 embossing folder , and used her Core’dinations Sand-It gadget over the embossing. She layered her embossed piece on Bazzill Basics orange cardstock and added some sweet little lace pieces across the top and bottom. Across the front, D.Ann added a strip of octagons using her BasicGrey Hey Girl paper pad and Spellbinders dies (Octoagon Strips & Accents). She used Tombow adhesive, Aleene’s Tacky Glue, and Scor-Tape to hold it all together. The inside sentiment is die cut with and Spellbinders In’spire Dies – Celebrations 2, and she also created a matching envelope for her lovely card!
For her second card, D.Ann die cut her black chalkboard cardstock (DCWV) with the Spellbinders Star Dreams Die, and added some shingy gold accents with Colorbok metallic paper and gold glitter tape. Inside her 3D card (that also fold flat for mailing), she included a sentiment cut with the Spellbinders In’spire dies – Celebration 2.
Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us this month, D.Ann!! It’s fun learning new ways to use our dies!
