Time for another guest design post here on the Cropstop blog. Today we have another gorgeous card by Ann of Ann Greenspan’s Crafts. I just love how Ann highlighted her embossing folder using different colors of gilding wax! In her own words Ann shares how she created her masterpiece:
I wanted to highlight all the pretty individual aspects of this embossing folder so I applied some Creative Expressions gilding wax with my fingers after embossing the white cardstock. I also painted the entire card with some clear Stickles Glitter Glue for some added sparkle.
For the frame I used my favorite Creative Expressions die called Ornate Pierced Rectangles and cut it out with some glittered craft foam. I backed the ornate frame with some rose glittered cardstock. The flowers were cut using the leftover piece of embossed paper that was cut to fit the inside of the frame. I punched some Cosmos flowers with a Martha Stewart punch and inked the already glittered flower tops with some Spun Sugar distress ink. The leaf punch is also by Martha Stewart.
I want to thank Esther for allowing me this opportunity to Guest Design for Crop Stop, and I want to thank Haylie-Jo for sending me this beautiful embossing folder.”
