Flowering Happy Frame with Stencils

Hey everyone, Steph Ackerman here today and I’ve created a flowering happy frame with stencils.  I’m working with the Crop Stop Oval Embossing Folder Spacer.   This product performs perfectly with embossing folders, but did you know you could use it in other ways also?

I first colored the frame with Ranger Distress Stain in Mustard Seed.  Then I used a Heidi Swapp Mini Frame stencil in the lower corner, inking it with brown ink using an art dauber.  These stencils are small, but fun to use.

I loved how my project was progressing, so I continued inking over the painted frame with brown ink.

Once it was completely inked, I placed my photo behind the opening.  Then I added some Petaloo Sugared Minis.  These little flowers are truly a sweet addition to my frame.

I love the mottled look of the frame, and the flowers look lovely around the opening.

To see another way to use these spacers, check out how Nadine used the Rectangle Opening Embossing Folder Spacer.

Thanks for stopping by today.
