Easter Tag

100_6079 Today I’m sharing an Easter gift ensemble I created with a punched paper bag and a pretty spring tag.

To create my tag I started with a 5.75 x 3.75 piece of  kraft cardstock. I cut a coral piece of paper slightly smaller and stamped the plaid background stamp (Impressions Obesession) in abandoned coral distress ink.  I ran my open scissors along the sides of the coral piece to distress the edges. Down the center of my tag I layered a strip aqua paper embossed with the circular grid border embossing folder from Anna Griffin.  Using a round paper punch I punched a small craft circle and glued it near the top before punching a hole using my Crop-a-dile.

100_6088Through the punched tag hole, I tied a twine bow using pink and blue burlap string.  Next I cut two nesting layers of designer paper using my Spellbinders Labels 4 dies. The floral collage is made using the Tiny Tattered Florals dies from Tim Holtz, the branch and frond punch from Martha Stewart, and a Posie Patch flower (Heartfelt Creations) stamped in broken china distress ink and decorated with a wooden button. The die cut “happy” sentiment comes from Momento, and I used alphabet punches to cut out “Easter.”

100_6082To finish off my tag I added a few pretty pearls and then layered the completed card on white cardstock.  Topping off this gift set is a decorated mini clothespin, and brown paper bag punched with the Embroidery Deep Edge Punch from Martha Stewart.

100_6089I’d love to see what you’ve created for Easter this year, so stop by the CURRENT CHALLENGE and link up your projects that use Cropstop products! Hope to see you there!
